OK, I took a blogger/diarist vacation for most of this quarter, only to return now. Work has been busy, but much has happened, and there is much to talk about. I’ll try to post a dozen or so essays over the next month, prospectively addressing the upcoming ’08 elections here in the US, the stock markets and investing, the energy crisis, and US foreign policy.
